The destruction of the beloved Rainbow Bridge at the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge in North Carolina has sparked concerns about potential scams. The bridge, cherished by many as a memorial to four-legged family members, was severely damaged, and now scammers may be trying to take advantage of the situation.
The Lake Lure Flowering Bridge’s official Facebook page has issued a warning about unauthorized fundraisers and new Facebook pages claiming to raise money for the bridge. Officials clarified that the only legitimate way to donate is through their official website.
