Mark and Daniela Longo of Peanuts Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary Inc. “rescued” her from Rising Starr Horse Rescue – a legitimate rescue organization who believed that Mark and Daniela would successfully rehab Dancer. Sadly, a few months later, Rising Star had to go back and essentially repossess, if you will, Dancer because she deteriorated so much both mentally and physically while at the freedom farm.
