Now Former Tennessee Deputy Out On Bond After Allegedly Killing 7 Dogs
This now-former Tennessee sheriff’s deputy is on the wrong side of the law, allegedly killing seven dogs. We’ll hear from the dog dad in a second. Former McNairy County Deputy Connor Brackin was called out for an animal welfare check on November 4th. The caller reported malnourished and abandoned dogs.
The arrest affidavit states that once on the scene, Brackin spoke with the caller, observed the dogs in pens outside and in two mobile homes, and gave one of the dogs to the caller. Brackin then loaded his service rifle and pistol and fired a total of eight rounds into the pens and the campers.
Here’s what dog dad Kevin Dismuke told local media—he wasn’t even home at the time.
This all took place about two hours east of Memphis in the city of Bethel Springs on November 4th. After an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Brackin turned himself in and is now out on bond.
Brackin’s bond was set at $1,000. He is charged with seven counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and eight counts of reckless endangerment. We’ve reached out to Brackin and have not heard back.
Now it’s time to have your voice heard.

BLIND, DEAF, 20 YEAR OLD CAT RESCUED!
BLIND, DEAF, 20 YEAR OLD CAT RESCUED! Westwood, Massachusetts.
TIKI was stranded on a piece of ice about 30-40 feet from shore on Nabnasset Lake. A passerby called authorities and all of a sudden, the little circle of ice Tiki was on broke and Tiki wound up under water except for his head.
Two good Samaritans, Kris and Nate from Onyx Corp., acted quickly. Nate used a rowboat and a shovel to break through the ice, reaching Tiki moments before he would have died from the cold. Animal Control transported the shivering, lethargic cat to veterinary care, where his temperature was dangerously low.
Tiki’s owners later identified him, explaining he likely ended up on the ice after being chased by a predator. Thanks to quick action by passerby Dawn F. and the rescuers, Tiki survived the harrowing ordeal—a heartwarming miracle of compassion and teamwork.

Caught On Camera: California Animal Control Officer In The Hot Seat For Dragging Dog
Caught on camera and for all the wrong reasons. Now, stay with me here because I’ve confirmed a lot of information today.
Kern County, California. The video is now making the rounds. Here’s the info. That’s Kern County Animal Control Officer Tipton—yes, that name is confirmed—caught on camera reportedly beating and dragging the 2-year-old, 60-pound mixed breed dog. Officer Tipton went out on a call for a stray and, at one point, tranquilized the dog. That’s when you see him reportedly dragging her back to the truck. The Kern County Animal Services Director told me there’s definitely no reason to do what the ACO is seen doing. The vet later examined the dog, and thankfully, no injuries were found. They also scanned the dog for a chip, but no luck. She was wearing a collar, but the director tells me they don’t expect anyone to reclaim her. Instead, he hopes a 501(c)(3) rescue steps in, and there’s already been some interest.
As for Officer Tipton, he is off until Monday. When he returns, the 4-year veteran will be questioned. After that interview, a decision will be made about his next steps. Once a decision is made, the Animal Services Commission will hear any appeals. An update will be provided early next week.
