Harnett County deputies went out there twice yesterday. Today, the owner surrendered Kiki, and animal advocates took her to
Southern Oaks Animal Hospital

I just spoke with the hospital and the Keep Wayne Coats Sheriff. kiki is being evaluated right now, as of 4:30 pm EST Thursday, November 14th.

The sheriff’s office is not taking this lightly; they told me they’ve opened an investigation, and the former owner could face animal cruelty charges.
