UPDATE: Florida Dog Groomer Caught on Camera Kicking Dog (Richel Yumar-Gonzalez) runs from media after court hearing. Police said he gave a full confession of kicking the dog in the doorbell. He’s now charged with 1 count of animal cruelty and now free on bond. His boss told me earlier that he fired him after 4 years of “no incidents” from Deluxe Mobile Grooming of Hialeah, Florida.

A Florida Highway Patrol Trooper rescued then later named “Trooper” and he was taken to the Leon County Humane Society in Tallahassee, far away from the real danger zones. Florida Troopers Rescue Dog Tied to Fence In Rising Waters On Tampa Road
A pit bull was rescued this morning by the Florida Highway Patrol near Interstate 75 and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Tampa after being found tied to a fence in rising floodwaters.
I SAY – DO NOT – I REPEAT – DO NOT leave your animals TIED to ANYTHING or LEAVE THEM BEHIND.
This poor dog would have DROWNED. Right now, they’re focusing on the last of the evacuations. Animals CAN’T run from the storm. Humans CAN.
