The Faulkner 14. The 14 dogs abandoned by a backyard breeder on an abandoned property in Faulkner County, Arkansas… and it wasn’t the first time.
Either time, no charges were filed but in this last case, the rescue group North Texas Australian Shepherd Rescue, just needed a few days.
Thing is, the snow and ice were right around the corner and the dogs would most likely wouldn’t survive.
Animal Advocate of North Texas and I went live to ask the local folks for help as Sheriff Tim Ryals of the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office first said he had no space and then said they had rescued all the dogs and that was a bold and blatant lie.
Why do we say that? We caught the Sheriff’s department in the lie on a TikTok live.
In the end, the dogs were rescued and are now with fosters yet SOMEONE needs to be held accountable because as we said earlier, these dogs could have frozen in the cold if it had not been for the people – and NOT the Sheriff’s department.
