HAPPY MONDAY!
HAPPY MONDAY! Let’s start the week out with a story that will leave you feeling there are good and bad out there but in this case, the Racine County Sheriffs Office Sgt. did a WONDERFUL DEED. He rescued a Corgi nearly killed in a hit-and-run. The driver is still on the run but thanks to the Sergeant who got Tato to the vet right away and now, Tato’s dad who is doing everything he can to get Tato back to good health. #dogs #hitandrun #gooddeeds Courtesy: WISN-TV

Here’s a great memory!
“I got a puppy at home and I was like crying,” said the officer who put his life on the line to save a dog. Obviously that man knows that a dog is not just a dog.
It’s great to see and remember stories like this because we often hear too much about the bad apples.
By the way, I’ve got a great story coming up Saturday about another officer who saved a dog. And once again, it wasn’t just “a dog.”

So-Called Rainbow Bridge Scams After Real Life Rainbow Bridge in Lake Lure, NC is Destroyed
SO-CALLED RAINBOW BRIDGE SCAMS? The Rainbow Bridge. Not the one up there but the one destroyed in Lake Lure, North Carolina. And what’s worse? Possible scammers could be hard at work trying to get money out of it.
This is the cherished spot at the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge now—essentially gone. The name we know all too well is tied to a special section of the bridge honoring our four-legged family members and friends. Countless leashes, countless collars, and tags—remembering our four-legged family members who had crossed the other Rainbow Bridge.
But now? This. The official Lake Lure Flowering Bridge Facebook page issues a warning. So-called fundraisers and new Facebook sites? All of it unauthorized by them, they say, and could possibly be scams. Finally, they clarified that the only way to donate to the Flowering Bridge is through their official website. They’ll post more information on their Facebook page.
Bottom line? Even at times like these, scammers are out there. So if you want to help, get in touch with the official Lake Lure Flowering Bridge folks. If you have any information on scams, please let me know. I can be reached at @therealpaulmueller on all social media platforms.
